Our Story
E17 Films & Emerging Talent CIC was established in 2010 by Paul and Liza Fletcher, Co-Founders and Directors of The Walthamstow International Film Festival, which has run annually in Waltham Forest since then. The annual film festival is powered by volunteers and young talent and offers an entry level platform to young creatives in the borough.
We create opportunities to give meaningful and high quality work experience to our community through The Walthamstow International Film Festival, through the Future Film Focus careers programme and through community visual arts and moving image projects in a collaborative way.

We have been supporting emerging talent through film exhibition, community projects and careers development since 2010.
Our mission is to improve accessibility and diversity in the Film, TV and Creative Industries.

Our vision is to inspire, educate and create opportunities for young people in East London to access the Creative Industries.
